just like that
Another new year, and another new studio update.
spectra & boggs updates
We’re moving through more updates to get the game presentable, and in the past month we (finally) submitted our materials to get the steam page up and running.
Unfortunately! We made a couple slight errors and there were a couple things in the review that we need to address before it will be officially live. Which means we missed MAGfest, but that’s okay. We’ll be up and running Soon™.
The holiday season can be rough for progress between our day jobs and all sorts of lovely social gatherings. It’s a wonderful time of the year, if not necessarily the most productive.
fun stuff
We had the day off a week or so ago and worked together on a little self-imposed jam. We’ve had been thinking about doing something like this for awhile to keep the creativity flowing, and we’re pretty happy with the little concept we got started within just a few hours.
It’s a sort of rhythm concept where the player works in a chaotic sushi kitchen, tasked with grabbing ingredients out of the air with certain timing to complete orders.
Our concepts usually start as sloppily written markdown files in a shared obsidian, and if we’re lucky, end up as a collaboratively drawn diagram.
It’s just an image, so you’ll have to imagine the salmon flying across the screen.
We plan to clean it up slightly and release the concept for fun on itch or something! Stay tuned.
that’ll do
If you’re seeing our blog for the first time (ever, or in awhile), we’re glad to have you.
If you’re here following along from 2025, let’s do it again for 2026.
